DMX HAS BEEN RELEASED FROM PRISON

DMX is a free man...for now. The troubled rapper was finally released from an Arizona prison this morning after getting an extra week added on to his sentence for probation violation (charges including drug possession, failing or refusing a drug test, being disrespectful, unauthorized smoking, and disorderly conduct). X also let it be known that he's excited to get back to making music.

“I’m feeling good, I’m feeling real good,” he told AllHipHop.com. “I’m gonna see my daughter, I just got off the phone with my wife. I’m going to see my daughter while the sun is up then I’m in the studio, man.

As for what we can expect from his new album, his label United Media and Music Group issued a statement saying that he will collaborate with some of the hottest names in the game (good luck since there aren't many left) and will unleash a hip hop fury that's been missing for quite sometime and will remind folks why he is the king of rap (that is if he can keep the glass pipe out of his mouth long enough to record a full album).

“Earl has so much more to offer the world,” stated his rep Nakia Walker. “His latest project has been on hold for so long! It is now time for X to redefine the world of hip-hop with his highly-anticipated album of inspirational, painful, and street-accredited rhymes. It is time to let the Dog out of the kennel.”

I couldn't agree more. If the music is hot and his spitfire lyrics are hotter, you best believe I will be there to buy a new DMX album. I've been a longtime fan of his work, and anyone who has a dark tortured soul that fights daily to battle his inner-demons, I always root for them to win. Hopefully he will get Eve on the album and some beats from Swizz Beatz because they always made magic together.
