TRAILER TRASH: FOOTLOOSE



I caught the commercial last night during So You Think You Can Dance, and while I love the original with Kevin Bacon and the late Chris Penn, this features relative unknowns except for Julienne Huff who is mostly known as Ryan Seacrest's beard and Dennis Quaid. Other than that the trailer pretty much gives away the entire movie (don't you hate when they do that?) and it looks like the screenwriters were watching a marathon of Step Up flicks for inspiration. Sorry to say, but this flick,  I prefer my Footloose with a side order of Bacon and bless Zac Efron's heart for turning this film down.
