Yesssss! One of my all time favorite drag queens (besides RuPaul and Lady Bunny) Divine, who starred in John Waters classics such as Female Trouble, Hairspray, Pink Flamingos, Multiple Maniacs, and Polyester (and was also a singer) finally gets the respect she deserves in an upcoming documentary chronicling the life and body of work left behind by this brilliant performer. The documentary was directed by Jeffrey Schwarz, who brought us Wrangler: Anatomy of An Icon ( the Jack Wrangler doc that's shown allot on LOGO). No word on when this will get a theatrical release, but like the doc on Mom's Mabley I am salivating at the mouth to see this film.
