We've all heard of engagement parties celebrating the time before people tie the knot. But a divorce party? If you're singer Jack White and Karen Elson you throw one. It's something quite unheard of but quite the creative idea. Here's a statement Jack made to People:
"We remain dear and trusted friends and co-parents to our wonderful children Scarlett and Henry Lee. We feel so fortunate for the time we have shared and the time we will continue to spend both separately and together watching our children grow."
Jack and Karen, also a musician have been married for six years and have two children together. If more people took the high road and celebrated with an amicable divorce party, what a wonderful world we would live in.
