GWEN STEFANI SAYS GOOD-BYE TO SOLO CAREER

Singer, fashion designer, and style icon Gwen Stefani, who is working with  No Doubt on a new album says that her stint as a solo artist is long behind her. Here is what the singer recently told Entertainment Weekly:

“It went on a little longer than we all thought it would, because it was inspired and you have to go with wherever you’re at in that time in your life… [But] everything works out how it should.”

I am a big fan of Gwen, whether she's in No Doubt or as a solo artist, and like Fergie, I don't know if I can handle them both not putting out solo work. Maybe they do their best creatively in a group. I know Gwen has a family to tend to (her husband rocker Gavin Rossdale just nabbed a role as a primary villain on the hit USA series Burn Notice) with her band back together, two children and a fashion line to keep afloat, but I would have enjoyed one more album at least from Gwen. Oh well, at least I have the memories and her two albums to look back on.
