Singer/rapper Example, who has been burning up the dance charts with his excellent tunes (most recently his single Changed The Way You Kissed Me) recently revealed in an interview that he is not a fan of Lil Kim's doo doo bubble Nicki Minaj.
Here is what he told Bang Showbiz: “I really don’t like her and I’m not a fan of her album. I don’t like these people who are hyped up and then their stuff is f**ing g*sh.”
“The only respect I have for her is that she’s a woman who’s done well for herself in the rap industry, so fair play to her for that,” he added. “Even though she obviously blagged it.”
I have to say I agree with Example 1000%. I'm not inpressed by her either, and to me Nicki is someone who lucked up with Young Money and is pushing the sex appeal as far as she can go, but the music (much like Gaga's) is monotonous and forgettable. i was thinking there would be more hip hop tunes on Pink Friday, but instead she's trying to push more commercial tracks and is singing more than rapping. Also her live performances don't move me either. She bored me to death at the Billboard awards and made it worse when Britbot came out do her zombie strut for 10 seconds on stage. I just hope Lil Kim can stop worrying about Nicki so much, work on some new music and remind people why they fell in love with her before FoxxJazell's aborted fetus came along and stole her entire aesthetic.
