BEYONCE PUSHES NEW ALBUM BACK TO SEPTEMBER

After rushing out a new album to compete with her fellow contemporaries and the blogosphere's lackluster response to the recent song leaks (the entire album leaked online yesterday), Beyonce's label Columbia has opted to push back her new album to September, so she can record more tunes for the release.

Here's what Bey had to say about the leaks: “My music was leaked and while this is not how I wanted to present my new songs, I appreciate the positive response from my fans,” she wrote. “When I record music I always think about my fans singing every note and dancing to every beat. I make music to make people happy and I appreciate that everyone has been so anxious to hear my new songs.”

She says she makes music for her fans and says she wants them to dance, but besides that shitty Run The World single, I have yet to dance to her new album. I remember hearing her at one point say she was working on an uptempo album, but I have yet to hear that influence. I actually felt deep in my gut that she was going to push the album back at the last minute, because it was going to come out in three weeks and all her singles have failed to chart. This gives Kelly plenty of time to promote the shit out of her singles, and if I'm not mistaken her album is supposed to come out in September as well. I just feel Bey's not ready to shake her jelly, and she really needs to truly step out of her comfort zone and bring it as an artist, because those leaks sound like leftover B-Day tracks.
