WILL.I.AM. WORKING ON SOLO ALBUM

While the Black Eyed Peas plan to take some time off after they finish touring with their latest album The Beginning, Fergie (who couldn't be more happier to take a break from the spotlight) spilled the beans to Hollyscoop.TV that Will.I.Am plans to release a solo album.

“I believe will is coming out with a solo album,” she revealed. “I’ve heard it. It’s called Black Einstein and it’s amazing.” Fergie continues,"I’ve been waiting for him to come out with this for so long because I want it. He won’t give it to me. I want it for the gym. He’s so amazing—just such a genius lyricist and I’m really excited for his project.”

Of course she would say it's amazing because she has every right to be bias when it comes to her bandmates. If you want to keep it real, I actually thought The Beginning was Will's solo album since any of the other Peas are barely on the other tracks. The only problem with Will is that he's not a really good live performer. Sure he was right to thank technology for their success because without it they would be another boring hip hop group. The issue is when it comes to The Peas performing live, they lack stage presence. Will is the worst when it comes to rocking a crowd. His 2007 album Songs About Girls was a huge flop. So if he plans to release a new album (which I'm sure will have a Green Velvet-esque electro vibe), he better work his ass off on giving a proper live show.
