During Sunday night's season finale of Desperate Housewives when Bree started investigating the rumors that her new police hottie boyfriend might be gay, I was very surprised to see singer, model, Noah's Arc star, and activist Darryl Stephens in a small cameo in a gay bar scene with the actress.
While we still have a long way to go in regards to more exposure of openly gay actors on network TV (no matter how big or small the role), it's great to see Darryl taking over ABC, since he previously had parts on Private Practice and the now-canceled Ugly Betty.
