Rihanna took to the stage in the Ukraine to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Ukraine’s football team Shakhtar Donetsk at their new stadium Donbass Arena over the weekend. What I was surprised by was the singer, who has often been criticized for her lack of stage presence and pitchy vocal ability showed her growth as not only a singer but performer. I guess after five albums back-to-back she's finally embraced her position as a pop superstar with a swagger that cannot be tamed.
“Ukraine u freakin ROCK!!!! Hope I come back soon,” tweeted the Bajan beauty. who will bring her upbeat and electrifying LOUD tour to the U.S. beginning June 4.
