PRODUCER JIM JONSIN ROOTING FOR KELLY ROWLAND TO WIN
As you all know, Kelly Rowland has been struggling for the past year to have one of her singles stick on the charts, and now that her single with Lil Wayne Motivation is giving her the success that's been long overdue, producer Jim Jonsin expressed his glee to Rap-Up about the success of the single:
“I’m really happy that things are going well for her on this record. A real concern for us was to get that smash for her,” the hitmaker told Rap-Up.com. “She’s a friend of ours as well, so to see her win is huge.”
Besides Motivation, Jonsin also revealed that he and Rico Love have produced three more cuts for her upcoming third album Here I Am as well as a uptempo track with Pitbull called Castle of Sand, which will be featured on Armando's upcoming album, Planet Pit.
“I think we cut a total of four songs with Rico Love and myself,” he added. “I did something with Wayne Wilkins. There’s a couple uptempo songs and we did another midtempo record.”
I cannot wait for KRow's new album, since I've been rooting for her to win since she unleashed the much overlooked Commander last year.
