Looks like Channing Tatum is taking it back to his roots for his next movie role. It's being reported that Tatum, who before becoming a top actor in young Hollywood worked as a stripper in his late teens will play one in a film set to be directed by Steven Soderberg.
Soderbergh explains why he chose to work on the project: "When Channing talked to me about this, I thought it was one of the best ideas I'd ever heard for a movie," Soderbergh said in a statement. "I said I wanted in immediately. It's sexy, funny and shocking. We're using Saturday Night Fever as our model, so hopefully we're on the right track."
if done right it could turn out to be a great film...or one of the trashiest films since three of my favorites The Players Club, Showgirls, and Burlesque. Check out Channing in his backsliding days below...
