BEYONCE TO UNLEASH WHO RUN THE WORLD (Girls) ON AMERICAN IDOL

Now that American Idol has three of the most uninteresting contestants left standing on the popular singing cheesefest, the producers are pulling out all the stops to keep all those stans that were hoping James Durbin would win the competition from moving on to much important things (like waiting for the new season of So You Think You Can Dance). One of said stops is premiering the music video for Beyonce's overhyped-but-underperforming new single Who Run The World (Girls) on Wednesday.

The video, which was directed by Francis Lawrence was supposed to premiere last Friday on VEVO,

but for some reason it never aired and a reason was never given. I'm assuming some last-minute edits were needed. Since no one in mainstream pop will be buying an album from Scotty, Lauren or Hailey, there's no reason to stick around to wait for a video you can catch on the internet anyway. Remember last week when they hyped up Lady Gaga performing on the show and all it was was footage from her HBO Monster's Ball special? Don't get sucked up in AI's manipulative bullshit.
