For the past couple of months, I've been obsessins over Swedish pop band Le Kid's recent single Oh My God, which is about to be put out to pasture to make room for their next single America, which will be available to download on iTunes this week. What I cannot stop gagging over is the remixes of Oh My God, which not only breathes new life into the big band poppy original, but it's so good they'd stand out on their own as individual singles in the dance/pop market. One thing I love is when a remixer can make a song not sound like an deliberate remix, which doesn't happen as often as I would like. Check out the electrofied Soundfactory remix as well as my favorite, the synth-heavy Le Family Blasphemix below. I also posted the original Oh My God version and their new single America for those who have not yet heard it. In regards of the America single, I think the direction the band should continue to go in is fusing electoinic music with their style of catchy pop instead of the sounds plaguing the original version of Oh My God.
