AURAL ORGASM: LADY GAGA - HAIR

We're just a week away from the release of Lady Gaga's highly-anticipated and overhyped third album Born This Way, and as promised Mother Monster has unleashed yet another brand new song to countdown the day of what she's calling a "cultural baptism." If the world comes to an end this week like that 80+ minister is claiming, then we just might be spared from this "baptism of shit" she's about to bestow upon us. Last week we got to hear Edge of Glory which is a slight upgrade from the abysmal singles Born This Way and Judas. That doesn't mean Edge Of Glory is as good as Bad Romance or Paparazzi. Gargoyle has given us a taste of her new song Hair which starts off like Pat Benatar's We Belong and then goes into a loud, flaccid and overproduced 80's electro stomper-meets-wannabe Springstein anthem. Check out the RedOne-produced track below and download it on iTunes

While I have to say this is the second Born This Way track that wasn't queefed from Madonna's back catalogue 20 years ago, someone on Youtube pointed out that Hair sounds similar to Hungarian singer Ibolya Oláh 2005 song Magyarország. Sorry but Ibolya's track is better.
