Weeks after Pauly D, Snooki and JWOWW all signed deals for their own reality shows, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is the latest “Jersey Shore” star to get a spinoff deal with MTV.
As of now there's no details on what the show will be about, but I'm sure production on the series will start later this year after the gang's all done shooting and promoting the fourth (and possibly last) season.
Sorry to say, but the only person I can see with their own reality show that could actually last years beyond Jersey Shore is Pauly D, because he has something that MTV could actually work with. He's cute, has a great personality and has an actual talent outside of burping, farting and throwing up on TV for ratings (something he's never done by the way). I just can't see what they could possibly come up with in the pitch meeting that would be interesting enough to get people to watch. Maybe they could do what VH1 tried to do with New York back when people had to vote for her to do some crazy job for cash.
The Snooki/JWoww and DJ Pauly D shows are slated to air in 2012.
