For the past few months rumors have been swirling that popular Jersey Shore castmembers Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio and Jenni “JWOWW” Farley would be getting their own spin-off shows. MTV is reporting that the network has given the greenlight to two untitled reality shows - one that will follow Pauly as he builds his DJ career, and another featuring Snooki and JWOWW living together ala Laverne & Shirley. The shows will begin filming later this year when they return from shooting Jersey Shore season 4 in Italy, and the episodes are slated to air in 2012.
“The ‘Jersey Shore’ cast is at the center of the show’s ongoing success and Nicole, Pauly D and Jenni have become household names as a result of their unique, sometimes outrageous and often hilarious personalities,” said Chris Linn, MTV Executive Vice President of Programming and Head of Production. “We’re excited to put the spotlight on their lives away from the shore as they pursue their individual passions, careers and relationships. Both series are fun, fresh ways for us to evolve what is an already successful brand for us.”
Not too sure about the Snooki and JWOWW show, but I'm definitely a fan of Pauly D, so his show I will definitely be watching.
