So it looks like the cast of Jersey Shore will only last a weekend in Italy and MTV will have to rent a house with a fully stacked bar in it because Matteo Renzi the mayor of Florence is looking to make sure they have the most miserable time ever. He says the cast can come to Italy next month but conditions must be followed as shows.
The cast will not be filmed in bars and clubs that serve alcohol.
The cast will not be filmed drinking in public.
The show will not be filmed to promote Florence as a drinking town.
The show should be filmed in a manner to promote Italy (not Americans visiting Italy) and feature its culture and good food.
I understand Matteo is looking to protect the dignity of his town from the vampires of Jersey Shore. but without the antics that we've all come to love from these rich misfits, all we'll have to look forward to is another nauseating fight between Sammi and Ronnie. If you can't follow the stricter rules of Italy, I just need to remind you of two words regarding their police system...Amanda Knox.
