LEATHERFACE TO WIELD CHAINSAW ONCE MORE IN LEATHERFACE 3D
The other day I was in the mood to watch The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the Jessica Biel version since I've seen the Tobe Hooper original a million times) and I wondered to myself when would Hollywood revisit the Texas slums that harbor everyone's favorite chainsaw-wielding killer. According to Bloody-Disgusting.com John Luessenhop (Takers) is reportedly in talks with Lionsgate to direct Leatherface 3D, the proposed relaunch of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre that was talked about a few years ago.
The story is said to pick up 30 years later after Tobe Hooper's film.
Adam Marcus, Debra Sullivan and Stephen Susco have worked on the script. If it plays to the original and can give some fresh ideas I'm totally there. Not too keen on this 3D madness in horror films.
