JAMES FRANCO'S BROTHER DAVE NABS ROLE IN 21 JUMP STREET MOVIE
The Huffington Post is reporting that Dave Franco, younger brother of sexy Oscar-niminated actor James has just nabbed a role in the film version of popular 80's TV series 21 Jump Street.
Also starring in the film version of the series that put stars Johnny Depp and Holly Robinson Peete on the map is Channing Tatum and a slimmed down Jonah Hill. The film brings back to life Depp's breakout role as a cop who infiltrates schools, posing as a student, to breakup drug rings. According to Deadline, Franco, 26, will play Eric, the most popular kid in high school and a massive drug dealer.
Franco is mostly know for his stints on the small screen, playing a medical intern in the final season of "Scrubs," and had a guest arc on the ABC Family college show, "Greek." He's also appeared in bit parts in some of his brothers films, including "Milk" and "Pineapple Express." Franco is currently filming "Fright Night," a remake of the 80's cult classic starring Colin Farrell.
