Two of the biggest boy bands of the past 30 years New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys have joined forces not only for a highly-anticipated summer tour, but on a new single called Don't Turn Out The Lights. I wanted to put it up on the blog last week, but for some god forsaken reason Youtube kept pulling it. Anyways, being that boy bands receive so much shit from critics or other artists that try to act cooler than them, I did proceed with caution before hearing it. I have to say this is the best fucking track ever recorded and it took nine guys to make it. After Nick Carter and Jordan Knight are done promoting their solo albums on the tour (you know they're gonna sing some of their solo stuff in between the NKOTBSB hits) I'm praying that this nine-piece boy band will join forces for a joint album. Oh, and speaking of Jordan's another Jordin (Sparks, that is) will open for NKOTBSB's summer tour.
