Pauly D, who was smart to focus his energy on using the Jersey Shore platform to build his brand as a serious DJ has nabbed a kush job beyond the Shore. The spiky-haired reality star has just signed with Palms Casino Resort to be their “exclusive resident” DJ at Palms Las Vegas.
“As a DJ, it has always been a dream of mine to have a residency in Las Vegas, so I am really honored to call Palms, the ultimate music destination, my second home this year,” said Pauly.
George Maloof, the resort’s owner (and brother of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne), said of his newest employee, “I have witnessed his rise to fame over the last couple of years, and his talent and crowd-pleasing abilities will continue to do unparalleled things for our property and our guests.”
Great step in the right direction Mr. Delvecchio. He's suave, funny with his annoying but catchy one-liners (cabs are heeeah!, busted big time...yeah!) laid back, and a reality star with actual talent, so I'm always going to pull for someone who deserves to succeed without acting spoiled and obnoxious. Pauly also has a spin-off series in the works that will chronicle his crazy life as a DJ, so expect lots of his Vegas shenenigans to be caught by MTV's cameras.
