Variety is confirming reports that Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Mysterious Skin, Inception) has nabbed a secret role in The Dark Knight Rises. The magazine is also reporting that actress Juno Temple (Cracks) is being eyed for a supporting role as a street-smart Gotham girl.
So far attached to the third installment in Christopher Nolan's trilogy include Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy and Anne Hathaway. The Dark Knight Rises will be in theaters on July 20, 2012 courtesy Warner Bros.
Rumors were going around that Gordon-Levitt would be playing The Riddler, but we've already have Bane and Catwoman in the movie. Maybe he's playing Robin? As for Temple my guess would be Stephanie Brown or Harley Quinn. I doubt Chris would cast her as Barbara Gordon.
