DIDDY TOPS FORBES ANNUAL WEALTHIEST ARTISTS LIST
Forbes is reporting that Diddy, who has raped more careers than a pedophile priest shuffled around the archdiocese has made the top of their annual Hip-Hop’s Wealthiest Artists list. When you add up all the money he's made attibuted to his Sean John clothing line, Bad Boy label, and Cîroc, which is now the top premium vodka on the market (in the hood I'm sure) his net worth is estimated around $475 million.
Coming behind Diddy is Jay-Z, with his bank account worth $450 million. The Brooklyn rapper's payola comes from his multiple enterprises including his Roc Nation label, fashion, touring, and record sales. Dr. Dre comes in at No. 3 with $125 million, due to his endoursements of HP laptops and releasing his successful Beats by Dr. Dre headphones.
50 Cent and Birdman tie in the number four spot with $100 million. The G-Unit Records CEO made that wad of cash when he sold his shares in vitaminwater to Coca-Cola for nine figures, and Baby's money comes from his Young Money-Cash Money labels, thanks to the success of platinum releases from his artists Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Lil Wayne.
