CHRIS BROWN REFLECTS ON HIS 16-YEAR-OLD SELF
It's no secret that Chris Brown has had a tough two years after his violent altercation with then-girlfriend Rihanna made headline news. Chris is seeking redemption through his comeback album F.A.M.E., and the 21-year-old takes a moment to talk to his 16-year-old self.
“This kind of sounds bad, but initially, be more selfish,” he tells Page Six Magazine. “When I first came into the industry, I was more open. I thought everybody was my friend, and it was like Wonderland. I was in the industry without a care, because it’s so fun, and there’s money and everything. But you need to protect yourself.”
Despite taking a more guarded approach to his career, Breezy admits he loves the fame part of the business. “Fame is what everybody seeks,” he says. “I get an adrenaline rush from it. But fame is basically love and hate all in one. Without bad there is no good, without good there is no bad.”
Good and granted there's always snakes in the grass whatever business you get into, but i would have thought his response would be to walk away from confrontation and not hit women whenever you don't get your way. Being more selfish sounds pretty childish and ignorant. You can be your open self around people but whenever it comes to meeting people you just have to take more precautions. Sooner or later the wolves in sheeps clothing always reveal themselves in the flesh. All it takes is a bit of patience and remaining alert. Oh, and more music and less publicity stunts, mmmkay?
Chris’ upcoming album F.A.M.E. (Forgiving All My Enemies) will be in stores on March 22 and features guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Justin Bieber, Ludacris, Big Sean, and more.

When i said more music I meant the focus should be on putting out music and letting it speak for itself instead of the publicity stunts as of late such as leaking your own dick pics online weeks before your fourth album drops.
