CHER NIXES COUNTRY ALBUM FOR DANCE PROJECT

I had the craziest dream last night. With Loleatta Holloway and Elizabeth Taylor succombing to the giant grim reaper in the sky, I dreamt that Cher had also died. Thank the lord that it was only a dream, because I was happy to learn this morning that everyone's favorite Armenian is working on a new dance record. According to her rep, she planned to work on a Country album, but after the success of the dance remixes for her ballad, You Haven’t Seen the Last Of Me, which was written by Diane Warren for the movie Burlesque. Thank God Cher came to hersenses and opted to go where the fans are. We didn't need an epic fail on your hands like Lady Gaga attempting but failing miserably to turn Born This Way into a Country anthem. I love Cher for many other reasons, but I've always preferred her on the dancefloor. Believe is still an album I listen to on repeat, and I am so glad she's making a return to form. With six decades on the Billboard charts, how can you go wrong?
