TMZ is reporting that former Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr who many may be familiar with from his stint on Celebrity Rehab back in 2009 and CR spin-off Sober House was found dead in Utah. He was 44 years old.
Starr was arrested last month for felony possession of a controlled substance. Salt Lake City cops say he had 6 Xanax pills and 6 Opana (painkiller) pills when he was busted.
So sad to hear, because while watching his season i was rooting for him to get better. You really need to get it together Charlie Sheen, because with your recent loony rants on Ustream, this could be you in a few weeks. Both you and Mike are the same age.
In other Celebrity Rehab news, it's been reported that Michaele Salahi, who many may remember alongside husband Tareq crashed the annual White House dinner that was taped for the now-cancelled (thank the lord) Real Housweives of D.C. has been kicked to the curb after a few short days of filming the popular VH1 reality show. Their reasoning for getting rid of her is basically what I said when I heard her name mentioned as one of the new castmembers - she has no addiction other than to the bit of infamy she received from being on the RHWODC. She was using any means to get a check and stay relevant, and while it is a bit ridiculous to have cast her without doing a proper background check as to why she needed to be there, I'm sure they got it all on video to show when they finish taping.
