We've seen porn stars such as Traci Lords, Zeb Atlas, Colton Ford, Johnny Hazzard and Joel Evan try their hands at the world of pop, Danish ex-gay porn star Carsten Andersson seems to have broken the curse and is having more of a successful turn transitioning from porn star to singer. His debut single, which was produced by London's very own Zebra1, has been a huge radio hit in Scandinavia and is apparently selling like hot cakes in Taiwan.
Carsten, who rmors are swirling that he may perform at this year's Eurovision contest owes much of his success to his career in the gay porn industry.
“Without my porn past, I’d be just another boy with a song out,” he told Frontiers Web.
“Porn has made people take notice.”
One thing he will not tolerate is people comparing his sound or image to Lady Gaga.
“Most things I see from her seem copied from artists of the past.”
