Screenwriter/producer Kevin Williamson, who is enjoying some success with the CW series The Vampire Diaries is diving into the world of witchcraft with new series "Secret Circle" based on the books by author L.J. Smith, who also writes the Vampire Diaries books. Secret Circle is about a young woman who discovers that she is a witch. Like Diaries, Secret Circle will be developed for the CW. Maybe it's a potential replacement for Smallville, which will end it's 10th and final season this May. It would be a great lead-in for Supernatural which could move to Fridays at 8pm. Either way I hope his divation into witchcraft will fare much better than it does on VD (which is a show I love, but are wasting witch Bonnie on the show).
