On Saturday, Dr. Luke (I am loving at the moment for his Soundcloud uploads like the recent remix of Ke$ha's Blow) uploaded a tiny snippet of a new Britney Spears song that will beatured on her forthcoming album Femme Fatale called Inside Out. The track, which has an awesome anthemic vibe based on the 17 seconds we get to hear has been confirmed by MTV to be the follow-up to Hold It Against Me.
After seeing her lackluster performance in her new video and the lack of promotion surrounding the buzz on the new album, Britney did not show up to her live MTV web launch party for the “Hold It Against Me” video premiere last week, but her manager Larry Rudolph appeared and did all the talking himself.
Larry says we should expect the single to drop within the next few weeks before Femme Fatale drops.
“I don’t think I’ve been this excited about releasing a Britney single in many, many years,” he said. “It’s that good. That’s all I’m gonna say about it at the moment. I haven’t heard a final mix of it, but I should get it in the next day or two. So far, what I’ve heard is just extraordinary. It really is amazing. Her fans will be very happy with it. I’m trying hard to get it out before the album comes out.”
Glad to see someone in the Britney camp is excited about releasing music from Femme Fatale. Rudolph seems so excited, I'm sure he wouldn't mind putting on a blond wig and playing a stand-in for Britney's futire videos and tour while she rather sit at home and eat cheeeseburgers while walking around barefoot with her kids in her backyard.
