It looks like Mariah Carey has yet another thing in common with music rival Jennifer Lopez. Not only do they share the same record label Island/Def Jam (and allegedly the same musical style), they will also share a common thread with babies. JLo has two-year-old twins Max and Emme and now Mariah has announced she and husband Nick Cannon will each have a boy and a girl, that is if you believe the sources that have yapped to Life & Style magazine. “It’s all about pink and blue these days,” a friend of Mariah and Nick tells the magazine. “It’s truly going to be a dream come true for them. They get a son and daughter.”
After the story leaked in Life & Style, Mimi confirmed the happy news. “Even before we announced it was twins, I was trying to keep everything genderneutral because I didn’t want to impose an identity on them too soon,” said the singer. “There were fan contests on Twitter about what gender they are and rumors about them being two boys or two girls—but nobody guessed this!”
I say it's always great to have one of each at the same time, that way. you're pretty much done in one swoop. Mariah ain't no spring chicken, and to have a bunch of babies like the Octomom at her age would put great risk on her health (and the few eggs she has left). Congrats on the great news.
