JOE JONAS WORKING ON DANCE POP ALBUM

With so many male singers jumping on the dance bandwagon, the last name I thought would be thrown into the mix would be Joe Jonas (aka the hot bubble bottom one). I gagged as I was thumbing through the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly (to which I have a subscription) and there was an article in the music section of Joe working on some new tunes with Danja (Britney Spears, Brandy). I had heard he was working with Frankmusik, but now that he's got Danja on board, it's really getting serious.

“It’s not a cheesy pop record,” Joe says in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. “Most of the songs are love-related. But I put the responsibility on myself to try grab their [former Jo-Bro fans] ears again.”

“The dance element is where my heart is,” he says, revealing that 90% of the album will be uptempo party music.

He was also asked what his brothers thought of his songs. "They've come into the studio a couple of times and heard some stuff," he says. "I remember watching my brother Kevin's reaction , and he was just like 'whoa.'"

As for a new Jona Brothers album, the three brothers have no plans to record new music at this time. Joe is also the second Jonas to go solo. Brother Nick released an album with his band Nick Jonas & the Administration last year.
