Rumors are swirling that things over at American Idol ain't all peaches and cream between our new line-up of judges. Rob Shuter at PopEater is reporting that Jennifer Lopez, who hoped that her stint on the popular music competition series will boost her Hollywood clout once again is furious that Steven Tyler is stealing all the attention.
"This was meant to be Jennifer's big comeback," Says an insider. "The entire re-branding of the show was built around her, but now it's all about Steven 24/7."
I could have sworn they were trying to make this show once again about the contestants, as they tried to make us believe? Rob's source continued to spill the tea on JLo, who is not liking the fact that people are continuing to ask her about the Aerosmith singer and less about her boring ass: "She's mystified at how this happened and has made it very clear to the producers that the cameras need to spend a little more time adoring Jennifer's favorite idol -- herself!"
Once the live rounds start just bring your A game and stop complaining. Also when you can come up with something more clever to say than "hellfire save matches, fuck a duck and see what hatches," then maybe people will pay more attention to you JLo. She's busy trying to play the diplomatic pageanty Paula Abdul role that no one is paying attention to you. You have to bring something more to the competition than good hair, face, and wardrobe. As for Randy, just like the props at American Idol he's just there for decoration.
