GUY OSEARY REVEALS FURTHER DETAILS ON MADONNA'S FORTHCOMING DANCE ALBUM
While everyone is buzzing about Lady Gaga's new single Express YourVogue 2.0, more details are coming out regarding the real Queen of Pop Madonna's forthcoming dance album. Lady Ciccone's manager Guy Oseary held a Twitter Q&A for the Material Girl's stans, and answered some questions regarding the direction of Madonna's first album since leaving Warner Bros. for a new $100 million contract with Live Nation.
“She is currently listening to new music, and is very eager to make a new album! Most of the music Madonna is liking for her new album are from all unknown producers. From what she played me, the tracks sound amazing.”
“As I said, so far all the tracks being considered are from unknown producers, but we are open to all and any great ideas. The new album will be quite the opposite of unplugged. I have one word for you: DANCE!”
Also adding fuel to the Lady Gaga vs. Madonna fire is the Examiner, who claims Madonna's rep has told CNN and other sources that she is unaware of any email that Madonna has sent, giving Gaga their blessing of her Express Yourself-sounding new single, Born This Way. Normally I would be leading the charge of calling out Gaga's bullshit with my glittered pitchfork and burning torch, but unless Madonna gives her opinion on the song out of her own mouth, then I'm going to file the Examiner's story as
As far as the album goes, this is great news, since Madonna's best work has always come from producers we've never heard of. Stuart Price, Mirwais, William Orbit...I could go on, but that would just be me gloating. It's been far too long since we've heard new music from Madonna, and I'm ready to dance. Madonna has always been good at taking the current trends in music and pop culture and putting a different spin on it. I'm so glad to see she's not conforming to what everyone else is doing by working with the usual suspects, like RedOne, Dr. Luke and David Guetta. Oseary also says Madonna hopes to have the album out by the end of the year, which would be absolutely perfect since 2011 is shaping up to be the best year for divas releasing music.
