GOOD LORD! CHERYL COLE ANXIOUS TO WORK ON THIRD ALBUM

After releasing two horrid solo albums, Cheryl Cole was excited to reveal that she cannot wait to work on her third record.

“For me, it’s all about the British music scene right now,” she told Metro backstage at the BRITs. “I seriously can’t wait to get back into the studio now. I’m itching to start recording.”


“I really want to get into the studio and focus properly on doing something different and more edgy,” she later told the Daily Record. “I want to work with everyone at the moment. Music is great right now.”

Why didn't she think of doing that on the first solo album? Parachute and Fight For This Love were epic pop songs, but then someone must have put a hallucinogent in her tea because I have no idea what possessed her to release those atrocious songs on her sophomore album Messy Little Raindrops. Cheryl should just work with the best songwriters and producers who can write her some radio-friendly dance tunes and put her out there like the true pop puppet she is. If she can except that she's a pop star with limited vocal ability who's career rides solely on how high her hit songs chart, then she'll do well. The minute she starts smelling her own ass like JLo and thinking they can blow like Aretha with mediocre ballads and mid-tempo tracks that only showcase your vocal weakness instead of enhancing it is when you'll be laughed out of the room.

No shade, but I wish some of these marginally-talented pop stars would just stay in their lane and work on enhancing what they're good at instead of wasting time trying to prove to everyone how talented they are. With the right material Cheryl could be a big solo pop star. It's why we love Madonna. She may not be the best singer or dancer (which she has said herself), but where that X Factor comes in is through being smart, working hard and having a personality. So if she wants a guaranteed hit album, might I suggest she head to the Emergency Room and have Dr.Luke, Shellback, Max Martin, Fernando Garibay, and David Guetta paged stat! And stay away from Will.I.Am. as a producer he's fucking horrible.
