BRITNEY SPEARS FEMMES IT UP ON NEW ALBUM COVER; REVEALS TITLE

After weeks of speculation and curiousity, Britney Spears has unleashed her inner Femme Fatale on the cover of her seventh album set to drop on March 15. Along with the new album pic, the pop tart twatted about how much work she put into the making of her seventh album: “I’ve poured my heart and soul into this album over the last 2 years” she Tweeted along with the picture. “I’ve put everything I have into it. This album is for you, my fans, who have always supported me and have stuck by me every step of the way! I love you all! Sexy and Strong. Dangerous yet mysterious. Cool yet confident!”

Besides releasing the album's first single Hold It Against Me (and a music video debuting very soon), the singer has been surprisingly low key on the promotional circuit, most likely pouring all her promotion in the last weeks before the album's March 15th debut. The only bit of info we have on the upcoming album is this press release which you can read below:

Britney Spears announces her seventh studio album is titled Femme Fatale. The iconic global superstar’s title Femme Fatale is a tribute to bold, empowered, confident, elusive, fun, flirty women and men. It’s not a conceptual album, Spears is letting the music speak for itself. She’s worked hard on it for two years and she considers it to be her “best album to date,” true to where she is now personally and professionally.

Femme Fatale (Jive Records) is executive produced by Max Martin and Dr. Luke.

Spears is peerless among her contemporaries. Throughout the years, Britney has consistently released hit after hit for over a decade, selling close to 70 million albums cumulatively worldwide.

That's great an all, but can we get the new video like yesterday?

In the meantime while we wait in anticipation whether or not the princess of pop is back on her grind, you can listen to the Steph Seroussi remix below. As for the album's tracklisting, Dr. Luke recently told Rolling Stone that they are still working on music for the album, even though we're less than a month and a half away from the album's release.
