The single was supposed to premiere midnight tonight on NYC Top 40 radio station Z-100, but you know how impatient the internet world can be. Z100.com has the world's first listen to Hold It Against Me, and the only slight change in the song is the beat but you got the gist of the track from the demo. Very different sound for Britney which is a good thing but when her people were talking about a whole new sound for the pop tart, I was expecting something that would give me goosebumps. As a hardcore dance music stan, Hold It Against Me will definitely get people dancing in the clubs (on the Jersey Shore), and in my opinion this is basically watered down, dated Euro pop. Really hoping your new album has better tracks than this one.
I will say I cannot wait to see the video to this because you know the choreography is going to be crazy. You can download the single at midnight on iTunes, and her still-untitled seventh album will be out in March. What do you guys think?
