The minute I heard official reports that Superman was being brought back to the big screen, with director Christopher Nolan and his brother Jonathan acting as producing consultants and Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300) directing, I immediately thought True Blood star Joe Manganiello would be perfect as the man of steel. He's got the hair, the height, and the confidence needed to play the superhero, especially if he has to play an iconic hero one minute and a shy newspaper reporter the next. “I would be honored. I love Zack Snyder, I love Christopher Nolan,” said Joe at a recent event. We love you too for this role Joe. If people campaigned for him to get the role the same way people campaigned to get him the role of Alcide on TB, that would be epic!
