SONGWRITER CALLS SOULJA BOY OUT ON HIS BULLSHIT CLAIM THAT HE WROTE WILLOW SMITH'S WHIP MY HAIR
Is this what we've come to? Twitter beefs over who wrote a song for a ten-year-old? Anyways, yesterday the Twatterverse was on fire after Soulja Boy bragged that he wrote Willow Smith's hit single, Whip My Hair.
“YES ITS TRUE I WROTE ‘WHIP MY HAIR’ FOR WILLOW SMITH,” tweeted the 20-year-old rapper. “THATS WHY SHE SAYS HOP OUT THE BED TURN MY SWAG ON. WE GETTING $$$ 2011 NO GAMES.”
Well appreantly the young rapper might not have been entirely truthful. Songwriter-producer JukeBox, who is the protege of Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, has responded to Soulja's claims by rapping over the beat he made for the 10-year-old singer. He also tweeted this message. “My house must be POPPIN! cuz i had NO IDEA soulja was in my house when i did that song! #invisibleswag??”
Listen to JukeBox's 16 below and decipher for yourself. (P.S. we know Willow won't be saying any of this on a remix).
