The Grammisgalan Awards aka Swedish Grammys aired last night, and congratulations are in order for my girl Robyn. The Swedish pop princess won four trophies for Best Female Artist, Best Composer, Best Album for Body Talk and Best Song for “Dancing On My Own”.
Not surprisingly, our Grammy's has only nominated her for Dancing On My Own, whil ignoring the fact that she dropped three of the best albums in on year - a nice feat when you have nominated mediocre acts like Katy Perry, Lady Gaga Usher, or whomever else has their payola check ready to buy their client an award we all know they don't deserve. It really irritates me how American audiences, radio, media, continue to sleep on her but will play that dated, tired Britney single every 10 fucking minutes.
