It looks like age has definitely softened two of America's biggest icons (and I'm not talking about their faces). After a decade-long feud between Madonna, 52, and Prince, 52, their apparent feud has come to an end when the Material Girl showed up at the purple one's sold-out Tuesday show at NYC's Madison Square Garden. Way back in the 80's, Madonna and Prince briefly dated and collaborated together on Love Song from her Like a Prayer album. The feud came to a head when the singer, who was a self-absorbed bitch in the early stages of her career sniped in an interview that Prince was a "little troll," and criticized him for not eating during one of their dinner dates. "He was just sipping tea, very daintily," Madonna said. "I have this theory about people who don't eat. They annoy me."
Other A-listers in attendance include: Jimmy Fallon, Donald and Melania Trump and an awestruck Leighton Meester, whom Prince serenaded onstage.
Prince even took a moment to make a joke about Madonna's high-priced ticket sales onstage: "I know I'm expensive!" he joshed, then making a friendly call-out to Madonna by name.
Glad that two icons such as Madonna and Prince can bury the hatchet. Could we expect another collaboration from these two in the future?
