OMARION QUICKLY SQUASHES BISEXUAL RUMORS

When I first got wind of this bit of news blowing up all over Twitter, I wasn't surprised at all when I heard it, but what I am surprised by is that he was so quick to respond truthfully. less than 24 hours after Raz B's brother Ricky Romance's conversation was revealed online pertaining to news about Omarion's sexuality, now comes word that the R&B singer has come out as bisexual. Read the official press release courtesy of The H8terade Blog below...

“I pride myself in being an honest, God Fearing, respectful man. I have kept my personal life private and wanted to keep it that way. Unfortunately, other’s are interested in profiting from my anguish; so before they can do that, i will clarify things. I am not at all what certain ex-band members are trying to paint me as, I am however a respectable, mature, proud, bisexual man.”

Well shortly after O's press release set the Twatterverse ablaze, the singer's PR team quickly did damage control, taking to the web to squash any inclination that the singer has an occasional need for some long duk dong.

“The previously released statement regarding Omarion is false and was generated for negative publicity by an unknown person. Omarion will not contribute to anything negative said or done against him. Omarion respects all of his fans, no matter religion, sexuality, or race,” the PR team said in their statement.

Oh I just love how you contribute coming out as gay or bisexual as something deemed negative, then give a back handed comment stating that Omarion respects his fans no matter what they do in the privacy of their own home. Even Omarion took a moment to come from hiding behind his PR team to make a statement via Twitter:

“Check it out 'I DID NOT RELEASE THAT STATEMENT',whatever you like is your business but I AINT GAY OR BISEXUAL,I love women PERIOD!!!!!!!”

Hey maybe if you did come out as an occasional dick fetishist then you'd actually sell records. Also whether or not he actually did come out as bisexual, and his PR team is quickly trying to do damage control for fear of this news ruining his already non-existant career, I still don't get this ongoing trend of celebrities holding press conferences, press releases, or gracing the cover of People magazine to announce their sexual orientation. Oh well, I guess it's time for you to go back to being that R&B artist no one gives a damn about. I would say at least you still have your gig on America's Best Dance Crew, but i still have no idea what's up with that show?
