JIVE UNVEILS BRITNEY SINGLE ARTWORK; RYAN SEACREST AND PAULY D TALK NEW BRITNEY ALBUM
Yesterday I brought you the official demo version of Britney's forthcoming comeback single Hold It Against Me. As we get closer to the single's release date (January 11 to be exact), Britney's label Jive has released more information on the pop tart's forthcoming album:
Song Will Debut Simultaneously At Radio And On The U.S. iTunes Store At Midnight (EST) On January 11th
New York, NY- Britney Spears’ new highly anticipated song “Hold It Against Me” will premiere simultaneously on radio stations and be available immediately in the U.S. exclusively on the iTunes store, Tuesday, January 11th at 12AM EST.
“Hold It Against Me” is produced by Britney’s long-time collaborators Max Martin and Dr. Luke and is the official lead single from her forthcoming album. The as-yet-untitled seventh studio album is slated for release in March, 2011 on Jive Records.
Fans will have the opportunity to purchase the song exclusively on the iTunes store until 1/18.
The pop tart also tweeted her fans in response to the demo leaking online yesterday:
“Heard an early demo of my new single leaked. If u think that’s good, wait til you hear the real one Tuesday.”
In other Britney news, lucky bastard Ryan Seacrest got to listen firsthand to Britney's new single, as well as another exclusive track from her seventh LP. Seacrest says HIAM will blow your speakers off once we finally get around to hearing it.
Spears’ managers Larry Rudolph and Adam Leber gave Ryan a first listen to the high-energy single on Thursday, which blew away the demo that leaked online earlier this morning. Leber played the song off of his trusted iPod Classic in Ryan’s radio studio . Britney’s managing team also played a second song for Ryan, “I I I Wanna Go” another powerhouse single from the new album.
Rudolph and Leber explained to Ryan that the creative process for “Hold It Against Me” music video is well underway and are nothing short of spectacular. Spears has been rehearsing choreography for the video for a month now, and will shoot in two weeks.
I'm just glad Britney's back to dancing again. I remember they were scouting for dancers before the holidays, so with choreographer Brian Friedman back on board you know she's gonna slay the competition. i also think it would be killer if they can get her to perform live at the Grammy's next month. Are you guys excited for new Britney?
Also check out DJ Pauly D's interview with Billboard below where he talks about what kind of DJ equipment he uses and talks about hearing Britney's new album.
