BUFFY RETURNS TO TV
It's been almost ten years since we've seen former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star Sarah Michelle Gellar kick ass and take names on TV, and it looks like she's going back to her roots. The new mommy will star in the new hour-long CBS pilot titled "Ringer."
Gellar will play "a troubled young lass on the run from the mob. She assumes the life of her wealthy twin sister, only to find out that said sibling has a bounty on her head as well."
"Ringer" comes from "Supernatural" writers Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder. Gellar will serve as a co-executive producer on the project, from ABC Television Studios and CBS Television Studios.
Sounds like a pretty good concept. I just hope CBS puts alot of faith and money into this show because I love SMG. I didn't think about it before, but I also thought if they were looking for a new angel for the Charlie's Angels reboot on ABC, she'd be a great choice. Since she's already got a new job it doesn't matter anymore.
