I'm really starting to think Britney's camp reads my blog on a daily basis, because not too long ago I had said that it would be a good move is she performed her new single at next month's Grammy's. Our prayers have been answered because according to the industry's most loathed oompa loompa Perez Hilton, the pop tart will lip-sync for her life at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 13th!
Right now there are no plans for her to open the show but we’re told that “she’s been rehearsing for weeks and it’s gonna be a truly great performance!”
I will take this with a grain of salt coming from Perez, since he's notorious for fabricating stories on his blog. i can't count how many times he's been called out on his shit from Gossip Cop (who he has blocked on his Twitter page). My guess if this rumor is indeed true, the music industry is all over Lady Gaga's cunt at the moment so they'll probably have her open the show. In my opinion Britney's been in the game longer, and I would have liked to see her strut her signature stripper moves the moment the show comes on. Either way I'll take Britney any way I can get her.
Update: Muumuse is reporting that Britney will in fact perform on the show. She will do a medley of her hits along with Hold It Against Me.
