AURAL SNIPPET - JENNIFER LOPEZ Feat. PITBULL - ON THE FLOOR

As Jennifer Lopez begins her stint as the new judge on American Idol, it should come as no surprise that she will use that platform to remind people she once had a hot music career. The Bronx native recruits Cuban dance ambassador Pitbull to spit a few bars on her Red-One-produced “On the Floor,” which reminds me of Kat Deluna for some reason. OTF will be the lead single from her first album since signing with Island Def Jam, Love? JLo's new single uses a sample of Kaoma’s 1989 hit “Lambada.” This is the first time in a long time I've gotten goosebumps from hearing a La Lopez single, since her best track in my opinion was Waiting For Tonight. I'm also glad to see JLo sticking to her strengths as a dance artist. Can't wait to hear this song in full and see Jen dancing to this in her music video. See Britney, if you're trying to go into dance music, this is the type of stuff you should be doing, not some lukewarm dated dance pop. What do you guys think?
