A few friends of mine have been ranting about Brooklyn-bound 23-year-old Danish electro-pop singer Oh Land (ne' Nanna Øland Fabricius) for quite some time now, and once I got through my Robyn obsession long enough to give her music a shot, I immediately fell in love. She reminded me so much of the electro chanteuse's I've groown to love over the years such as Alison Goldfrapp, Bjork and Roisin Murphy, and Miss Thang should definitely be in a class with those talented ladies. I've seen her video for the single "Sun Of A Gun" played on LOGO quite a few times, and I have the song as well on my iPod playlist. Her voice is so soothing and a force to be reckoned with, and her debut will be out on March 15th.
