Like Kat Deluna, Kelis, Amerie and lots other talented American girls who can't get a break unless your name is Beyonce or Gaga, Mya has been promoting her music overseas, where she has found much bigger success than in her homeland. This time Ms. Harrison has teamed up with Japanese producer Jeff Miyahara, who is big on the J-pop music scene. Mya's last album Sugar & Spice was released in Japan about three years ago, so she has a big following there. Like Kat Deluna in Germany, you go where the money is - or at least make a splash in the small club community. Also be on the lookout for her new video for Love Is the Answer - which, from the few stills I've seen of the music video looks great.
