A few weeks ago I premiered the Keri Hilson demo version of this track on my blog. I informed you that this song was given to Nicole Scherzinger to record for her forthcoming solo album. Her version has finally arrived and might I say I absolutely love it. While Poison had to grow on me after a few listens Don't Hold Your Breath knocked me square on my ass. Nicole sounds great on this song and it's actually the perfect pop track for her to get the hit she desperately needs. I've been hearing that RedOne will executive produce her solo debut and she had a meeting with one of my favorite producers/DJ Dave Aude where she confirmed this is her new single. As for who produced DHYB I have no idea.
