It looks like it's about to go down over at the CW. Kyle Riabko, who plays gay teen Ian on the CW soap 90210 slowly helped tennis star Teddy (Trevor Donovan) come out of the closet, and it looked like they were going to become a hot item on the series. Well not so fast. According to Michael Ausiello at Entertainment Weekly, Ian's character is being written out of the show. But don't cry for Teddy, Argentina. He'll still be getting some man booty (or the other way around depending on what his preference is). It was reported that Freddie Smith will play new love interest Marco, but looks like that character will not be the one that beds Teddy. Ausiello is now reporting that Alan Ritchson, who plays Aquaman on Smallville and has a recurring role on the SPIKE TV series Blue Mountain State will play Tripp, a former prep school roommate that Teddy privately crushed on back in the day.
Now talk about a wet dream come true. Ever since I saw Alan on Smallville, and really vamp up the sexy on Blue Mountain State, I imagined him getting down with a hot guy. 90210 is already getting good and I cannot wait to see how Teddy's love life plays out this season now that Dixon spotted him kissing Ian in the winter finale.
